Chapter 80 – Brushing a Favorable Impression (1)

How was there even the slightest trace of disfigurement? Her beautiful face was flawless!

Suddenly, one after another, there were long sighs of relief from the spectators.

However, for a long time, no one spoke.

During the previous performances, no matter who was performing, there would be fans of other performers that continued to talk in whispered tones.

Director Zhou Hui lightly sighed.

“In the past, I frequently advised actors against taking the roles where they had to express pain of loss. Because it’s impossible to fake pain and remain unaffected by it. When a person’s pain is at its utmost, the pain would spread out to everyone around him or her. This doesn’t need a spoken language. A hopeless or sad gaze, a heart-wrenching sound, any of these things would be enough to spread your pain to other people. You can’t fake this emotion.”

“An actress has to use her genuine physical reactions to convey and let the audience feel the same sorrow and pain as her.”

After Director Zhou Hui said this, he gestured his spread out hands at Yu Yaoyao.

On his tanned face, a hint of approval appeared on his face.

“Congratulations, you succeeded.”

Veteran actor Shao Qing nodded in agreement. His normally expressionless face even showed a faint smile.

“The recent stifling feeling on the stage shows that you succeeded in demonstrating your interpretation of the topic. I’ll vote for you today. I’ll also say that the expression you showed when you looked in the mirror for the first time was very good. I saw a beauty that was extremely satisfied with her appearance.”

After hearing these words from the veteran actor, everyone in the audience sobered up.

When the audience looked at the stage, their eyes were burned by the beauty of the woman on the stage.

Yu Yaoyao was standing in the center of the stage. Barefooted, wearing a white dress, long hair that reached her waist, and eyes that were clear as water. Underneath the illumination of the stage lights, it felt as if there was a halo around her body. It was a moving sight.

She was clearly a perfect beauty!

No flaws could be seen at all.

This perfect face had acted out a scene of a disfigured beauty that had caused them unable to keep their breathing smooth.

After a short pause, there was a smattering of applause. Soon, the number of people applauding increased.

There was even the sound of whistling and cheering from some of the male audience members.

Ni Yi, who was still standing below the stage, felt as if he had just tried out bungee jumping.

His shirt was soaked through with sweat and even the tip of his nose was sweaty.

At one point, he felt like someone at the gallows and someone had kicked the block out from underneath him. However, her performance had been like a safety rope. In the moment, when he had been freefalling in despair, she had smoothly pulled him out of it. Her rescue was so quick that he had bounced up in empty air!

Ni Yi almost cried.

He turned his head to look at the previously jeering actresses that were still stunned and harrumphed at them

The actresses’ faces immediately paled.
