Chapter 79 – A Horrified Scream

He looked at the stage with extreme apprehension. He couldn’t even be bothered to wipe the sweat from his forehead.

“Ah!”

She flung the mirror away!

Both hands were trembling as she covered her face.

Her hands slowly moved to stroke her face…

The previously beautiful and confident limpid eyes looked dilated, and then they slackened…

“No no no… no…”

Because she had been violently shaking her hair, her loose black hair had gotten tangled up.

Her words were insensible, and no one could understand what she was saying.

And, her chest was sharply undulating. It looked as if she was in pain and couldn’t breath. It looked as if something had instantly taken away all of her strength. When she collapsed onto the floor, she seemed as if she had lost her soul.

When her slender fingers touched the broken mirror on the ground, she pulled it back as if she had been burned.

A tear dropped down on her face, which was half covered by her hair.

Looking helpless and fragile, she slowly pulled up her knees together and tightly buried her face between her legs.

Her entire body was shaking, and a hoarse crying was welling up in her throat.

This sound wasn’t sharp or loud. It sounded as if it was sorrow that came from her heart. The moment that people heard it, they would feel enshrouded in a bitter and depressing atmosphere.

Soon, the only sound in the spacious recording and broadcasting hall was her extremely painful sounding cries.

Again and again, there came a despairing and helpless cry.

At this moment, no one could laugh.

Even the actresses that had mocking her earlier, they now had stiffened expressions.

The entire stage felt so heavy that people felt as if they couldn’t breath.

There were even many viewers that couldn’t help but put down their glow sticks.

The people that had been discussing, the people that had been whispering, they had all stopped.

Finally, the woman on the stage that was trembling in despair stood up. She was standing bare feet on the ground.

At the moment when everyone was feeling unbearably uncomfortable, she gathered up her loose hair and revealed her beautiful forehead and her glamorously beautiful face.

Her eyelashes swayed over her limpid eyes, and she winked at the audience.
